November 21St, 2009 BIF Shoot in Amherst MA.

We sure had an interesting day!! Unfortunately our falconer had some problems in the morning, and we had a late start, but the birds were beautiful, and the shutters were buzzing in the afternoon.

My friend Gary Prestash did a great job helping me organize this shoot, and making some excellent contacts. We are looking forward to many more programs together, thanks Gary!

A great fellow by the name of Les Campbell allowed us to host the shoot on his property in central Massechusettes, and Gary really helped get all this set up. The property is spectacular, and we hope to work with Les again very soon.

We had an assortment of cool birds, a Spectacled Owl, Eurasian Eagle owl, Male Kestrel, Harris's Hawk and an amazingly fast Gyr falcon. Thanks to Brian Bradley for presenting these birds.

  1. Ray, I had a great time at this workshop. You have a great no stress, have fun teaching style and did a great job seeing that everyone got what they need out of the day. I would love to attend another workshop in the future. I hope to send you an image from the day soon, there were so many it is hard to choose.

    Thanks again,
