Apex Bean Bag first Sale!!

Apex Bean Bag from Travis Peltz on Vimeo.

I received a shipment of products from Essential Photo Gear, based in Michigan, USA. My friend Rodney Brown, from Leamington Ontario trekked up here to pick up my first sale of this cool Apex Bean Bag product!

Also, another buddy, Mike Osborne from the Kitchener area picked up the bag blind... Kwik Camo!! Both of these products are very well designed, durable, as they were created with the wildlife photographer in mind.

I took a few minutes to photograph Rodney and the Apex Bean Bag using my truck down near the lake here in Grimsby, Ontario. Thanks for doing some modeling Rodney!

I have a few other products I hope to photograph this weekend., so more news soon!

Apex Bean Bag $129.95

Kwik Camo Bag Blind $99.95

Plus shipping, + taxes if applicable!

  1. I would like to give you my thoughts on the Apex Bean Bag.
I had originally seen it on the internet (after getting a little frustrated with trying to hand hold my lens or rest it on the window) and thought this looks pretty neat and there seemed to be some thought put into it.
I was checking out Ray Barlow’s web site and seen that he was selling the Apex Bean Bag.
I emailed Ray on Thursday night and like Ray always does in a couple minutes he emailed me back saying he had one.
I told him that I would like to see it so I meet him in Grimsby that Friday afternoon with my gear and after seeing it bought it.
The bag is very well constructed and it takes a little over 10 kg of rice to fill it. (If I would have been thinking I would have probably filled it with bird seed) It has an aluminum plate that slides into the top sleeve with a mounting bolt to mount your head on and it has two straps on the bottom, one on each side to hook to the inside door rest and the inside of the legs are cover with non slip rubber.
I was a little skeptical of the bag moving with my Wimberley head and camera gear attached to it, but the bag was rock solid and worked perfectly.
I highly recommend this bag and believe it will be a great part of my wildlife arsenal and I’m very much looking forward to using it.

If you’re a little skeptical yourself give Ray a call and he will be glad to show it and make a believer out you too.
I’ll guarantee you; once you see it you’ll want it.

    Thanks Rodney Brown
