Costa Rica December 2010 Tour

 Thanks for looking!!

I am just getting settled from this latest tour to Costa Rica, catching up on emails, and organizing guests for all the upcoming programs for 2011.  I am planning another Costa Rica tour for the end of January, so if your interested, please let me know!

We had an amazing time, with only 2 guests...  Wayne, Dr. Robert, and I were able to enjoy ourselves and get to know the local people in this wonderful country.  We spent the first 2 days in San Jose, and traveled north to photograph some incredible birds, and frogs at La Paz Waterfalls Gardens., then we packed up and trekked south to a small town called Providencia.

This place was so cool... being up in the mountains, a warm blanket was needed at night!!  13 kms off the highway, the road down through the mountains was amazing!  We spent 4 nights at a local B+B, with Anna, Enrique, and their son Andreas...  wonderful people...  they live on a coffee plantation!

Eric and Ying Allen, my friends who are from the Yukon made the connections for me...  this amazing family with their wonderful daughter are living in Providencia to help with the school, and the community., they have done so much to help these only 250 people living in this small town.

Fresh homemade, homegrown coffee every day, and it was superb!  The cooking was incredible, all organic, and the pizza was the best I have ever had in my life! Thanks again to Anna!

We found some great locations to photograph birds, and scenery, up early every morning around 5 am!! And almost no bugs!!

Considering I have never been to these places in the past, we did very well.  My next tour to Costa Rica for late January should be planned and ready for bookings before Christmas!
