I bought a D300 (my first Nikon!) about 3 years ago to photograph the 2010 Olympic games (as a spectator). I have been very happy with it. As I want to get more into wildlife and bird photography, I am currently saving to purchase the Nikkor 200-400mm f/4 VRII lens, which I hope to purchase by the spring. Once I have that lens I will be contacting you about purchasing a Jobu head (Jobu Heavy Duty MK III). I have been impressed with all I have read about their tripod heads.
What camera will you get as a replacement?
ReplyDeletewow 164,000 shots - so what are you thinking of buying next ? d300s ? d3?
ReplyDeleteI will get this one repaired!! Could never afford a new camera!!
ReplyDeleteNice last shot from the D300! :)
ReplyDeleteHope you get the shutter replaced quick for your next trip!
Thanks, the camera is rebuilt and ready to go, thanks to Nikon Canada.
