November 14th 2009 Simcoe (BIF) Flight Shooting

It was a little scary at the beginning, but the sun came through and we had some wonderful light! Thanks to all 6 of our guests at the Canadian Raptor Conservancy last weekend, we sure had some fun, and crazy shooting.

Standing on a ladder worked for both Megan and Alex.. a very different view! Bob did his usual excellent job with all the birds, the flights were spectacular! We all experimented with different angles, and settings on our cameras... Jerry Peltier and I traded lenses, and wow, is that 300 2.8 VR sweet! I used it for several kestrel images, and nailed a few!

Have a good week!!
