Dr. Robert, Wayne and I had a great time in Costa Rica, we all found the people and wildlife experiences to be very special, and the weather could not have been better. Robert sent me a bunch of his images that he edited this past weekend, so I thought I should share his amazing results!
Robert was using his D300s, and D3s for all of his shooting, alone with a point and shoot for grab shots
(Leica DLux 4 and it has a 33mm equivalent of 24-70). The 200-400 VR2 seemed to be the popular lens, along with a 105 f2.8 macro.
For support, when using the 200-400, he used a carbon fibre tripod, and gimbal head. As an instructor with medical techniques, and equipment training Robert enjoys the aspect of working with fine equipment, and creating digital images for multi-media presentations. We all enjoyed his Africa show one evening, along with many helpful tips and info for my tour coming up in February.

Spending Time with Wayne and Robert was wonderful, 2 very easy going guys, and tons of fun!
I hope you enjoy Roberts images, and maybe I can talk him into sending a few more in the new year.
